Office 365 version 1902 download






















The installation box now says "Please stay online while Office downloads". That's new and suspicious! That sounds like it's reliant on downloading directly from Microsoft, but I'm not sure exactly where it would temporarily store those files on the C: drive to check.

I can see plenty of received traffic in the Task Manager. I've tested the installation without a network connection and it fails to due to lack of Internet connection. I can't see why this behaviour has changed since "" and don't want unnecessary bandwidth usage, not to mentioned the extended delay. Screenshot: Office Takes about 30 mins to download? Internet connection required. I'm using the latest setup. I've tried the setup. I'll keep investigating and trawling the web in the meantime but thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: Just to confirm, the deployment of our "" package still works perfectly and uses the exact same XML. I was trying to use SCCM's Office Install wizard which I thought had improved to download the "latest" build - but even re-checking today, that version is not listed when it brings up "config.

Last week Microsoft released but found some bugs and quickly expired this, replacing it with Rather than gamble on what "latest" was, I edited my XML file and specified Please rate your experience Yes No. Any additional feedback?
